By design, the iSolar Attic Fan focuses on the Environment and Sustainability. iSolar Attic Fans are manufactured with cast aluminum, aluminum and recycled plastic, all of which are recyclable at end of life which is estimated to be 20 years or more.
Our packaging is produced with recycled paper.
Our product is 100% solar powered and therefore uses no electricity.
iSolar Attic Fan extends the life of roofing materials (shingles and wooden trusses) by keeping the attic related surfaces dry and free from mold and mildew.
The iSolar Attic Fan extends the life of air-conditioners as they will require 15 – 30% less usage due to lower temperatures in the home. Lower temperatures will trigger the AC ON switch less frequently.
The iSolar Attic Fan was developed to be as simple and environmentally slimmed down as possible to avoid inclusion of unnecessary and bulky additional materials such as batteries, extra solar panels, timers, controls and regulator components.
iSolar Solar Powered Attic Vent System
Active Ventilation Products, (AVP) is owned by brothers Martin & Ethan Kolt. When asked, “Who is Active Ventilation Products” Ethan, Executive Vice President of AVP explains “We like other American based manufactures, supply to a niche market. We have focused our engineering and creative prowess to solar, solar attic fan, and roof vent production. AVP supplies over 700 models of roof vents to home owners, roofers, distributers and OEM’s across the country”.
The quality, durability and aesthetics seem to have deteriorated over the years. That is why AVP manufactures a roof vent solution that is not only durable, and aesthetic pleasing, but also hurricane tested.
With roof vents ranging in size from 3 inches to 48 inches in diameter AVP’s deep line is engineered for flat and steep sloped roof applications. Most of AVP’s attic vents have UL certification as well as having Florida State and Texas Department of Insurance certification. California Fire Code approvals are complete and all certified roof vents are rated to withstand wind pressure of over 200mph. Furthermore all UL listed roof vents came in well over 50 PSF when tested at the UL Laboratory. We serve Brevard County Florida communities of Melbourne, Palm Bay, and Merritt Island as well as the rest of Central Florida.
